Sheet 5 in a series of five silkscreen prints based on the 1969 painting of the same name (catalog number of the paintings: 224/1-5), which, in turn, are based on photographs that Richter took from the airplane window during a trip to Milan in 1968. Printed by Hans H. Hotze, Essen. Published by the Griffelkunst-Vereinigung, Hamburg. [AW].
