On light cardboard. 47,5 x 54,8 cm (18,7 x 21,5 in). Sheet: 50 x 70 cm (19,7 x 27,6 in). Published by Waddington Graphics, London 1979.
Hamilton created a composition that lingers between abstraction and figuration. Both the chair, designed by DeStijl representative Gerrit Rietfeld and the rectangulars' colors, as they were also employed by De Stijl founding father Piet Mondrian, are means of form finding and create the illusion of a single room.
