Bronze with dark brown patina.
Berger 31. With monogram in top right on rear of plinth (ligated). Rear plinth margin with foundry mark: H. Noack, Berlin Friedenau. Probably one of 15 copies, distributed since 1919 by Galerie Ferdinand Möller, Berlin. Including the subsequent editions around 30 copies of the bronze are known. 23.5 x 18.5 x 14.3 cm (9.2 x 7.2 x 5.6 in).
The addition "Friedenau" on the foundry mark indicates an earlier date of the cast.
Excellent cast with uniform patina.
With an expertise by Dr. Ursel Berger, from 21 January, 2013.

PROVENANCE: Private collection South Germany (acquired in 1958 on the art and antiquity fair in the Haus der Kunst, Munich).
