Around 2005 Robert Longo made several large-size charcoal drawings of galactical star fields and planets in his characteristic black-and-white manner. The typical photorealistic subtlety and precision in graphic execution creates an irresistible statial effect, which - in combination with the huge formats - seems to capture the infinite space on the flat paper.
