The coloring was executed by George Grosz in the USA in the late 1930s/1940s
Verso: study of a male head with cylinder. India ink drawing, crossed out in pencil.
Socio-critical watercolor, draft for the magazine 'Simplizissimus'.
Accompanied by a confirmation issued byRalph Jentsch on22 May2017. The work will be included into the forthcoming catalog of works on paper by George Grosz.
