Bruhns (2018) G 81. Signed in upper right, verso inscribed with the dimensions. 65 x 60 cm (25.5 x 23.6 in).

PROVENANCE: Collection Alfred and Carolina Hahn Cohen, Hamburg (acquired directly from the artist; Anita Rée was second cousin of Carolina Hahn Cohen, from whom the family had acquired several works).
Elisabeth Loew, Buenos Aires (daughter of aforementioned, from whom she inherited the work).
Private collection Great Britain (inherited from aforementioned, until 2012).
Private collection Bavaria (since 2012).

EXHIBITION: Galerie Flechtheim (with label on stretcher, there with hand-written number "825"; whoch presumably is the label for the exhibition "Frauen", that Flechtheim showed at his gallery in Berlin in July 1922, however, there is no respective catalog).
