Unique object, which had been considered lost for a long time. This work was amde at a very early point Kolbe's sculptural creation and presumably one of two works the artist made during a stay in Florence on a Villa Romana scholarship .

With an expertise issued by Dr. Ursel Berger, Berlin, on October 29, 2018.

PROVENANCE: Collection Paul and Herta Rohs, Radevormwald.
Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (inherited).
