Upper left monogrammed and dated. Verso signed and inscribed "Murnau", here inscribed "Pp. 150/40"(?) and "17.VI" by a hand other than that of the artist. On laid paper by Ingres (with watermark). 61 x 45 cm (24 x 17.7 in).
