The work offered here was made in Purrmann's studio in his house on Lake Constance in 1935. The artist bought the house in October 1919 and regularly spent the summers together with his family there. [CH].
Originally present from the artist for Polyxena Hardt, wife of the writer Ernst Hardt.

The work is registered at the archive with the number 1156.
