• Significant provenance: Next to Galerie Arnold, the Kunstsalon Emil Richter was one of most important places for modern art in Dresden. From 1907 to 1909, Richter was one of the first to show "Brücke" art.
• Characteristic sheet from the early "Brücke" days.
• Confidently composed nude, in which the black-and-white contrast in the background forms an expressive unity with the nude's edgy lines.
•Rare. To date only one other copy was offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com)
