Comprises geographical descriptions of Western Asia with Anatolia, Iran, Iraq and the Arabian peninsula. - The nice coppers with views of Babel and Tower, Baghdad, Ninive, Smyrna, Mount Sinai, Mocha, also plants, folk scenes etc. - Mainly at beginning and towards end slightly waterstained, plates partly with narrow margins, about 3 views or maps with slight browning, 2 views with skillfully restored margins, one flying endpaper renewed. Edges, joints and spine ends skillfully restored in places. Clean and well-preserved copy of the travel book with coppers in clear impressions.
