The first late-impressionist paintings in the Lindenau museum in Altenburg were mady by Ernst Müller-Gräfe in 1911, two of the three murals were completed in 1915. After World War I he created three new versions, which were following Expressionims in terms of form and colors. The works were executed in 1919 and 1921, today they are pasted over by wallpapers.
