1 von 300 Exemplaren. Wunderschöner Pressendruck in Rot und Schwarz auf kräftigem Büttenpapier. Das Frontispiz stammt von W. H. Hooper nach einer Zeichnung von C. M. Gere, es zeigt "the old manor house in the village of Kelmscott, from which the press took its name" (Walsdorf).

EINBAND: Orig.-Pergamentumschlag mit Rückentitel in Gold. 21 : 14,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit Frontispiz und Druckermarke sowie zahlreichen floralen Initialen in Holzschnitt. - ZUSTAND: Ein Schließband unvollständig erhalten, insgesamt schönes sauberes Exemplar. - PROVENIENZ: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung.
