Prächtige große Planansicht des alten Rom.

Die von zwei Platten gedruckte und zusammengefügte Darstellung zeigt zahlreiche antike Bauwerke und Anlagen, darunter das Kolosseum, Circus Maximus, Obelisk, Pantheon des Agrippa, Trajanssäule, Forum Romanum, Kaiserforen, verschiedene Hippodrome und Tempel u. v. m. Zweiter Druckzustand mit dem Titel, gefolgt von etwas Text, in einer breiten Beschlagwerkkartusche; im unteren Rand eine weitere Schmuckkartusche mit ausführlicher Legende 1-269. Verso einspaltiger lateineinischer Text.

- ZUSTAND: Vor allem die untere Hälfte gebräunt. Unter Glas gerahmt (mit Passepartoutausschnitten auf der Rückseite), nicht geöffnet.

Second state (of 3) with the title and some text in a broad decorative strapwork cartouche; with extensive legend in another cartouche in the lower margin. Single-column Latin text on verso. - Tanned mainly in the bottom half of the illustration. Matted and framed (with windows cut into the reverse side), unopened.
