In comparison to the previous edition from 1614 enlargened by 3 maps and plans in the text as well as more than 350 woodcuts in text and with 25 newly drawn pre text maps. - Lacking at the beginning the copper title by Merian and the typogr. title (with Münster' portrait on the reverse) as well as 10 unnumbered text ll. and 4 ll. with 2 double-page pre text maps; mainly at the end 44 text ll. with 6 views and c. 180 woodcuts in text. - Browned and partly stained and waterstained, partly with varying marginal defects, gutter throughout with some minor worming (first ll. there torn), the last 14 ll. (3 ll. loosened) with cut resp. cutout, very last l. only in fragements. Joints and lower extremity of spine torn, upper extremity of spine with blank spot.
