PROVENIENZ: Private collection South Germany.

The plate belongs to a sequence of drawings, which were painted in Weissig near Dresden in spring 1908. The same year Nolde created similar etchings with dancing couples in an inn's hall. [RS]
In good condition. Verso loosely mounted at points on backing board, partly negligibly pushing through. The margins with minor crease marks, partly probably due to studio work. With a few barely noticeable brown stains.
