Our work shows a naturalistic study of two polar bears in a zoological garden. Richard Müller's profound technical mastery nurtures an unrivaled notion of Realism in this subject that in terms of its visual subtlety. The polar bears, which are almost floating into the water, have a surrealist air which can b e found in all of Richard Müller's works. The ingenious composition with its boundless bottom, the subtle coloring and a painting style aimed at the exact depiction merge to an overall effect whose references to reality remain open.
