Published as annual bonus of Karl-Hofer-Gesellschaft, Berlin 1960. Karl Schmidt-Rottluff said the following on the woodcut's origin: "The woodcut must be from some time around 1930, originally, it was intended as a woodcut in colors. For some reason that never happened. As the printing block is still preserved and the Hoferges. asked me if I could perhaps and so on I took up the stone once more, made a coupel of proofs and they agreed."
