The bronze is a small version of Frederick the Great's equestrian sculpture that Tuaillon made for Beuthen in Upper Silesia in 1908-1910. Today the sculpture is lost. It is similar to the equestrian sculptures of emperors Frederick III. and emperor Wilhelm II. on the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne that Tuaillon made in 1907-09. [CB].
