Round stand with strongly profiled half baluster all the way round. Strongly exposed wall with high-relief blossoms and tendrils in Tula technique over a snakeskin decor.Wall with two buffers: Town square with columns and palace, presumably the Alexander Column, shortly erected before the cup was made, in front of the St. Petersburg Winter's Palace. On opposite side with harbor view with lighthouse and ship. Weight: 229 g.
Punched with, among others, purity mark "84", Moscow town mark "St. Georg", hallmark "A·К" for Andrej Antonowitsch Kowalskij, year "1850" and maker's mark.
Slawic Institute, Munich 1971, silver marks no. 617, 618.
