With edition label on underside of table, there with signature of Rotraut Klein-Moquay, the artist's widow as well as the serial number. Ca. 40,5 x 125,3 x 100,1 cm (15,9 x 49,3 x 39,4 in).
The table, filled with 22ct sheet gold is part of an unlimited edition from 1963 based on a model by Yves Klein from 1961. It started a year after the artist's death and is supervised by Rotraut Klein-Moquay. Klein's three most important colors were used for this edition: Next to the valuable and opulent sheet gold, which has quite some aesthetic appeal, the famous pigmnet IKB International Klein Blau, as well as a rich pink serve as fillers.
