Cast by art foundry Hermann Noack, Berlin (without foundry stamp). Other copies are in possession of the following public collections (a selection): Nationalgalerie Berlin. Museum am Ostwall, Dortmund. Wallraf-Richartz-Museum, Cologne. Kaiser Wilhelm Museum, Krefeld.
This bronze presumably belongs among the earliest casts of this popular small statuette.
