Adriani 115, Wittrock 99 (Pan French Edition 1895). Monogrammed in the stone, as well as with an orange-red monogram stamp below the image. One of 100 copies. On creme wove paper. 32.8 x 24.5 cm (12.9 x 9.6 in). Sheet: 55,6 x 37,6 cm ( 21,9 x 14,8 in).
Inscribed by a hand other than that of the artist in lower margin.
Printed by Ancourt (H. Stern), published by the magazine PAN, Berlin/Paris, 1895, in connection with the French supplement to vol. I, no. 3. [CB].

PROVENANCE: Private collection Berlin.

"The finest sheet is the half length portrait of Marcelle Lenders in eight colors, released in the German magazine PAN in September 1895 […]. There is no second lithograph that was printed so elaborately and with such subtle color figurations and which embodies the flourishing decor of an era that is coming to its end."
