Lower center of base inscribed "Franz von Stuck" and titled "BEETHOVEN" in center of base . One of five known copies. 26.6 x 13.3 x 10.8 cm (10.4 x 5.2 x 4.2 in).
Cast by Cosmas Leyrer, Munich (with foundry mark at bottom on verso of base). [FS].

PROVENANCE: Private collection Southern Germany (in family possession for at least 40 years).
