Signed and dated in lower right. On laid paper by C. Fichtner (with watermark). 37.3 x 44.2 cm (14.6 x 17.4 in), the full sheet.
The towers in the middle of the landscape are part of the Convent Säckingen. A painting with the same motif from 1921 is also in existence (cf. Vogt 1921, 27; Hüneke 1921-25). [CE].

In good condition. Slightly discolored and with tiny isolated soiled spots. Lower right corner with a small paper loss. Lower margin with slight smoothed creasemarks and two minimal splits (ca. 2 mm). [CE]
