In his work book Johannes Grützke notes the following on this work: "Zwei in schwarzer Jacke und weißer Hose / laufen einer nach rechts, einer nach links / aber fassen am selben Stab an. Vorn rechts der vertrocknete Blumenstrauß von Bischof Huber". [CH].
