Oil on cardboard , laid on board and mounted on canvas.
Jawlensky/Pieroni-Jawlensky 2257. Jawlensky Bianconi addenda volume 3 CR (2257 r). Signed and dated in lower left. 26 x 40 cm (10.2 x 15.7 in) . [CH].

- Harmonious composition in glowing dark colors.
- With the fruit still lives from the days of the Meditations Jawlensky underwent a significant artistic process.
- Important step in the development to the still lives of the late 1930s that were made in the style of the Meditations
- Another fruit still life from the time (around 1931) is in the Museum Wiesbaden (CR 1383)
