The cityscape is a prime example from the days of Edouard Bargheer's Ischia motifs in the 1950s, when he depicted the island, which had become a second home for him, in a very mature style and in all its athmospheric subtleties.

Good overall impression. Upper right corner mended and with several skillfully closed splits in the margins (up to 45 mm). There and in left and lower margin with skillfully executed retouched spots. Tiny isolated color flakings. Sheet firmly mounted.
