Acrylic on panel and square-cut aluminum profiles.
One signed and dated on verso. Each titled, inscribed and with serial number from "B 1" to "B 4" on a label on verso. Unique object. Each 27 x 20 x 8 cm (10.6 x 7.8 x 3.1 in). G

• Powerful composition educed from the primary colors red, yellow, blue and the non-color white.
• The three-dimensional image carrier makes for a special spatial presence.
• Multi-partiality makes the serial conception of Knoebel's work perceptible.
• The exhibition "Farb/Raum/Körper" (Collection Goetz, 2017) showed Knoebel's creation in context of other prominent abstract positions.
• Imi Knoebel's works are part of many renowned collections, among them the Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, the K20/K21 - Kunstsammlung Nordrhein Westfalen and the Albertina, Vienna
