• Muche painted his first abstract pictures as early as in 1913.
• However, it was not until 1915 that Muche found his own abstract visual language through regular visits to the famous gallry "Der Sturm".
• His paintings, created between 1915 and 1918, are characterized by their brightly modulated color surfaces, which Muche placed between a black line structure.
• Herwarth Walden showed the exhibition "Max Ernst - Georg Muche" (1916) and "Paul Klee - Georg Muche" (1917) in his vangard gallery "Der Sturm" before he signed the artist.
- In 1919 Walter Gropius appointed Muche teacher at the Bauhaus in Weimar
.
