• A magnificent and vibrant floral still life in the artist’s characteristic bold, vibrant colors.
• This ardent admirer of Vincent van Gogh is considered one of the most significant representatives of Westphalian Expressionism.
• Many works created during World War II are considered lost today.
• Works by P. A. Böckstiegel are in renowned museums, including the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
