Taciono, der diesen Band aufgrund eines neu entdeckten und weitaus verbesserten Manuskripts selbst herausgab und dies im Vorwort auch erläutert; des weiteren berichtet er dort von seinen weiteren verlegerischen Vorhaben für das Jahr 1525. Bemerkenswert sind insbesondere zwei kurze Abhandlungen des Beda Venerabilis De computo, vel loqvela per gestum digitorum (Bl. LVff) und De ratione unicarum (Bl. LVIIff), - "giving us almost our only knwowledge of the finger reckoning or symbolism of the Middle Ages in western Europe" (Smith). - Der schöne blattgr. Holzschnitt mit der römischen Sybille unter einem Torbogen trägt das Monogramm "b.M." und könnte von Benedetto Montagna stammen (vgl. dazu Hind II, 469f.). - Vollständiges Exemplar, Titel in Rot und Schwarz.1 full page woodcut (signed "b.M."). Mod. vellum. - Rare collection of different essays, edited and printed by Giov. Tacuino in Venice. Mainly important two short writings by Beda Venerabilis. Complete and well preserved.
