The genre scenes with illustrations of plants etc. The woodcuts of plants originate from the plates of the Hebarius edition by Hist from 1485 (cf. Schramm XVI, plates 87-103). - Lacking the last register leaf. - Waterstained (esp. at the beginning) and stained in places, few ll. with minor marginal defects, title leaf with partly rebacked small defects and splits (minimal loss of printed matter), book block slightly broken. Binding with traces of use.
4th German edition of the important work on agriculture. With 254 woodcuts in text (53 rep.). Later half vellum, cover using old vellum manuscript. - Lacking last index leaf. - Waterstained (especially in the beginning) and partly stained, some leaves with marginal tears, first and last leaves with small marginal defects, title with partly rebacked small damages and tears (minim. loss of letters), inner book broken. Binding with signs of use.
