Not in BM STC, Adams and Brun. - Very rare edition by Andrè Bocard and Jean Petit. Magnificent scholio print in red and black with metalcut initials, ttile with the fine printer's device of Jean Petit (Haebler VII). The remarkable metalcut shows Justinian at the synod and had already been used in Corpus juris civilis (Paris, Gering and Rembolt 1503). "It ... passed to André Bocard, who used it in editions printed for Jean Petit" (Mortimer 152 with illustration). - Title with remains of seal wax and an uncomely erased stamp (small defective spots). Binding slightly stained. Well-preserved copy.
