I: Prayerbook. Arabian manuscript on paper. With title decorations in gold and in colours and 2 schematic drawings (Kaaba in Mecca & plan of Muhammad's grave). A. H. 1152 = A. D. 1739. 80 ll., size of sheets 17 : 11 cm. Black and red ink, 13 lines in Nashki style with gold bordering lines. - Lacking 2 ll. Various types of stains. Spine and binding defective. - II: Scholar's biography. Arabian manuscript on paper. With half page title corations in gold and in colours. A. H. 1322 = A. D. 1904. 12 ll. Size of sheet 20,8 : 13,5 cm. Black and red ink, 15 lines in Nashki style with broad bordering line in gold. - Biography of the scholar Hafez Ibrahim Adham Bin Hussein Rustum Altrnawy, written by Abdel Rahman Helmi Alschamuwy. - Binding detached. - III: Fiqh-i akbar-i hadrat-i imam-i a'zam (treatise on shiite law). Paschtu manuscript on paper. With halfpage title decorations in gold and in colours. A. H. 1174 = A. D. 1760. 46 ll. Size of sheet 21,2 : 14,5 cm. Black ink, 11 lines with red bordering line. - Translation of a Persian original, written and translated by Darwisch Muhammad Hindi-zada Rizqa. - Slightly stained. Decorative binding with flap (joints torn). - IV: Very delicate and elaborately made Persian-Indian miniature in colours (showing a court ceremony). 18th/19th century. Size of image 7,7 : 6,3 cm, size of sheet 16,8 : 10,7 cm. - White margins with worming (partly affecting the bordering line), with slight foxing.
