Urkunden. - Notary's diploma for Anton Franz Schwartz from Pommersfelden. German manuscript on vellum. With 1 gouache in colours with some gilt heightening. 4 ll. (1 blank). Brown ink, 23-24 lines. - Contemp calf. Folio (size of sheet 22,7 : 18 cm). - With attached lacquer seal in prim wooden box (diameter 7 cm).Weissenstein, August 1764.
Diploma for Anton Franz Schwartz appointing him as public notary and judge under the duke of Schönborn on Schloß Weißenstein near Bamberg. With calligraphic opening line. The decorative notary signet in colours (10 : 9,5 cm), framed by two tendrils, shows a "Mohr mit Kocher und Pfeilen samt der Beyschrifft 'Nomen et Omen [sic]'" [transl.:"moor with quiver and arrows and the inscription 'Nomen et Omen [sic]'"]. - Wooden box without lid and with defective spots. Binding with few traces of worming and small defective spot in corner.
Decorative ms. diploma for Anton Franz Schwartz for his appointment as notary public and jugde. German hand on vellum, with seal. With gouache, showing the notary's signet (a moor with quiver and arrows) and motto "nomen et omen". Contemp. calf. - Wooden seal case lacking the lid. Boards with few small wormholes and small defective spot in corner.
