In pencil and ink. - Orig. half cloth with printed label "Conto-Buch für", below the autogr. addition "Ali Baba". In new morococo cover. Small 8vo (16,6 : 10,5 cm).
Biographically relevant docmuent from Slevogt's estate. A kind of artist's book of household accounts, this small boklet registers Slevcogt's earning in table form; sold, loaned, sent and returned paintings, spendings for journeys, household etc., also with a list of some works for exhibitions in in Berlin, Leipzig and Rostock. The entries cover the periods from 16. XI. 1903 to 22. V. 1905 as well as January 1930 to 22. VIII. 1932, a few weeks before his death. - The almost fullpage pencil sketch shows a children's portrait. - Inner joints reinforced, title with small mended spot. - From the collection Kohl-Weigand (ex-libris on pastedown).
