"As of 1999 G. Rockenschaub created almost sensual-orgiastic festivals of colors in the exhibition rooms. He achieved this by means of colorful wall paintings, but to the largest extent with the ‘Foilenbilder‘ [Foil Pictures] that were developed on the computer and then processed on foil by a special company. The single color fields were put on foil, cut out according to their shape and mounted on an aluminum carrier. [..] With their shapes and colors, the ‘Folienbilder‘ even emanate a kind of music rhythm. The recipient gets an impression as if the images were dancing, and that has an impact on the observer, on his mood and his physical well-being."
