Index Aurel. 146.777. - VD 16, P 1832. - Adams C 2930. - Wimmer/Lauterbach p. 23. - Mennessier de la Lance I, 329. - Pritzel 1966. - Second Latin edition by Petrus de Crecentiis (1230-1310), published in Basel. - The Italian classic on agriculture is regarded the first and most important medieval tractat, its 12 books cover housing, plant breeding, winegrowing, trees, fields, woods, herbs, gardening, animals (particularly horses), hunting etc. - Lower margins mostly stained and with small defects and traces of worming (throughout carefully restored), title with inconspicuous rebacked marginal cutout (without loss of printed matter) and partly erased ownership inscriptions by old hand. Binding rubbed and carefully repaired. All in all carefully restored copy.
