De medicamentorum quomodocunque purgantium facultatibus, nusquam anea neque dictis, neque per ordinem digestis libri duo. Lyon, M. Bonhomme 1552.

Äußerst seltene Abhandlung über die Abführmittel.

Erste Ausgabe. Das Werk wurde 1554 unter dem Titel De occultis pharmacorum purgantium facultatibus neu aufgelegt und noch über 100 Jahre später (Lyon 1656) nachgedruckt. - Der Verfasser (eigtl. Guillaume Dupuis oder Du Puys) war Medizinprofessor an der Universität Grenoble. Er verteidigte die Lehren der arabischen Medizin, insbesondere die Schriften Mesuës, gegen die Angriffe von Manardi und Fuchs. "He further asserted that a good part of recent physicians had overwhelmed medicine with innumerable errors, basing their judgement not on reason but witnesses, as if there were no art, no method handed down, teaching physicians to know the qualities and properties of medicinal simples" (Thorndike).
