Hemisphäre des südlichen Sternenhimmels, aus dem bekannten Himmelsatlas.

Tafel 27 aus Cellarius' bedeutendem Himmelsatlas. Erste Ausgabe noch ohne den Verlegervermerk der Auflage 1708 von Schenk und Valk. Mit zwei Vorhangkartuschen und Putti in den freien Räumen.

- ZUSTAND: Oberer Rand rechts mit kl. hinterl. Einriß bis knapp in die Darstellung, Mittelfalte unten mit hinterl. Einriß und kl. Defekten (etw. Bildverlust). Unter Passepartout.

Col. copperplate, heightened with gold in places. Plate 27 from the first edition of Cellarius' celestial atlas "Harmonia macroscosmica" (Janssonius 1660-61), depicting the Southern night sky. - Upper margin with small rebacked tear on the right hand (slightly affecting the illustration, rebacked), centrefold with rebacked spit and small defects at the bottom (with loss of illustration, rebacked). Matted.
