Robert Fludd
Philosophia Moysaica. In qua sapientia & scientia creationis & creaturarum .. explicatur. - Philosophiae Moysaicae sectio secunda in qua fundamenta radicalia tam sympathiae sive attractionis naturalis, aut coitionis concupiscibilis, & consequenter omnis magneticae curationis .. demonstrantur. - 2 Tle. in 1 Bd. Gouda, P. Rammazenius 1638.

"This was the author's last work and, as such, fitly represents his matured opinions on Metaphysics, Philosophy, etc." (Gardner).

LITERATUR: Ferguson I, 284. - Gardner 237.

First edition of this important work, 2 parts in 1 volume. Bound as often with the first Latin edition of Fludd's "Responsum". "Summarizes Fludd's cosmological views and then goes into the weapon-salve problem and magnetism at great length" (DSB). With 2 large title-engravings, 4 engravings in text and 26 woodcuts in text. Mod. vellum using a 16th cent. antiphoner manuscript. - Even slight browning, first title-engraving with small rubbed spot. Else fine and nearly stainless copy on strong paper.(R)
