Diversa orbis terrae visu incedente. Kolorierter Kupferstich bei Peter Schenk, Amsterdam nach 1706. 50,5 : 58,5 cm.

Schöne Weltkarte in zwei Hemisphären auf schwarzem Grund, mit 12 weiteren Globen und Schemata.

"A map similar to that by Carel Allard, 1696" (Shirley). - Späterer Druck nach 1706 mit entfernter Datierung. Zeigt neben der Welt in zwei Hemisphären 8 weitere Globen mit "Alter" und "Neuer" Welt, den beiden Polen, Pazifik und Atlantik sowie Nord- und Südhalbkugel, ferner 4 kleine Schemata. Im Unterschied zu der Karte von Allard u. a. mit kleinen Putti in den Zwischenräumen und in kleinerem Format.

- ZUSTAND: In den vier Rändern bis ganz oder knapp an die Plattenkante beschnitten, im Bereich der Mittelfalte mit restaurierten Wurmlöchern und -spuren, das grüne Kolorit gering oxidiert (mit kl. Papierbruchstelle in der rechten Blatthälfte, oberer Rand umseitig mit wenigen Montierungs-Papierresten.

Attractive two hemisphere world map after Allard's "Planisphaerium terrestre, sive terrarum orbis" (1696). With 12 additional globes and schemata. Later print with the date 1706 erased. - Trimmed to or nearly to the platemark, centrefold with small restored wormholes, the contemporary green coloring only slightly oxidated (causing a small paper break in the upper right half of the sheet), on verso with few traces of mounting in the top margin. Overall fine copy.
