Dankt dem Künstler für die Zusendung eines Kunstblattes wohl als Aufmerksamkeit zum Weihnachtsfest. "Ich finde das Bild unseres Kronprinzen sprechend ähnlich und den Stich meisterhaft ausgeführt."
- ZUSTAND: Mit kleinem Falzriß.
Addressed to Nuremberg engraver Andreas Pickel (1838-1913) who had sent an engraving to Moltke with a portrait of the crown prince Wilhelm of Prussia, later emperor Wilhelm II., probably as a small Christmas present. Moltke finds kind words for the similarity and the execution of the engraving. Autograph letter signed. 1/2 page (double leaf). Autograph envelope mounted to the blank page. - With small split to fold.
