Lebendiges Skizzenbuch des ab 1967 nur noch als Bildhauer tätigen Künstlers, mit Zeichnungen zum Ätna-Ausbruch sowie überwieg. Berg- und Felslandschaften.
Der Schweizer André Bucher (1924-2009) lebte und arbeitete in Genf. Er studierte in Zürich an der Kunstgewerbeschule und in Paris, wo er unter anderem bei O. Zadkine lernte. Integration von Geist und Materie standen für ihn im Mittelpunkt seines Schaffens. Insbesondere durch seine Arbeiten aus Lava und Bronze erlangte er internationale Anerkennung. Das vorliegende Skizzenbuch beschäftigt sich mit Landschaften und enthält ein zweiseitiges Intro mit zu verwendenden Materialien und Ausstellungsplanungen.
EINBAND: Orig.-Karton. 29,5 : 21 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: 100 Bll. mit zusammen 99 Orig.-Zeichnungen in Blei- Filz-, Bunt-Stift sowie tlw. Aquarellfarbe (darunter 3 doppelblattgroß). - ZUSTAND: Sauberes Exemplar, lediglich der Umschlag etw. fleckig.
A lively sketchbook by the artist, who worked exclusively as a sculptor from 1967 onwards, with drawings of the Etna eruption and predominantly mountain and rocky landscapes. 100 pages with a total of 99 original drawings in pencil, felt pen, colored pencil, and some watercolors (including three double-pages). Orig. cardboard. 29.5 x 21 cm. - A clean copy, only the cover is slightly stained.

This lot can be purchased subject to differential or regular taxation, artist‘s resale right compensation is due.
Differential taxation:
Hammer prices up to € 200,000: 34 % buyer's premium.
Hammer prices above € 200,000: for the share up to € 200,000: 34%, for the share above € 200,000: 29% buyer's premium.

Regular taxation:
Hammer prices up to € 200,000: 27 % buyer's premium. Hammer prices above € 200,000: for the share up to € 200,000: 27%, for the share above € 200.000: 22% buyer's premium.
The statutory VAT of currently 7 % is levied to the sum of hammer price and premium.

Calculation of artist‘s resale right compensation:
For works by living artists, or by artists who died less than 70 years ago, a artist‘s resale right compensation is levied in accordance with Section 26 UrhG:
4 % of hammer price from 400.00 euros up to 50,000 euros,
another 3 % of the hammer price from 50,000.01 to 200,000 euros,
another 1 % for the part of the sales proceeds from 200,000.01 to 350,000 euros,
another 0.5 % for the part of the sale proceeds from 350,000.01 to 500,000 euros and
another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
