Die 30 Lichtdrucktafeln geben einen guten Überblick über das malerische Werk Gustav Klimts. Jedes Gemälde wird im Inhaltsverzeichnis aufgeführt sowie der jeweilige Besitzer oder Aufenthaltsort der einzelnen Originale genannt. 1914 war bereits von dem Wiener Verleger H. O. Miethke eine vergleichbare Mappe mit 50 Tafeln ediert und in der Wiener Staatsdruckerei gedruckt worden. Die vorliegende Mappe enthält neben dem vollständigen Tafelteil der nachfolgenden Ausgabe von 1931 eine Einleitung von Benno Fleischmann. - 1 von 270 Exemplaren.
EINBAND: Lose Tafeln in Orig.-Halbleinen-Mappe mit goldgeprägtem Namen auf dem Vorderdeckel. 49,5 : 46,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Folge von 30 (15 farbigen) montierten Lichtdruck-Tafeln von G. Klimt. - KOLLATION: 20 S. (Begleitheft). - ZUSTAND: Tafeln i. w. R. tls. etw. stockfl., Begleitheft am oberen Rand mit größerer Stauchspur. Mappe schwach fleckig und berieben. Insgesamt gutes Exemplar.

Plates reprint of the 1931 edition, with introduction by Benno Fleischmann. Series of 30 plates (15 in colors) by G. Klimt. Loose sheets in orig. half cloth portfolio with gilt lettering on front cover. - White margins of plates partly foxed; the accompanying booklet squeezed at left top edge. Portfolio slightly stained and rubbed. Overall a good copy.
