• From 1962 onwards, Albers developed his characteristic formal language: bright color modulation in squares.
• In his paintings and color serigraphs from the characteristic series “Homage to the Square,” Albers devoted himself to the interaction of unmixed colors, which he interwove in three to four square color fields.

In good condition. The outer edges of the sheet are slightly scuffed in places and the margins are very slightly soiled in places, there is a small yellow spot in the upper left edge. There are two small adhesions in the center of the bottom of the image, and the image is slightly rubbed, particularly in the dark green area.
