• Distortion and fascination: Markus Lüpertz offers a captivating reinterpretation of the ancient motif.
• With his twisted and exaggerated figures of mythological heroes and gods, he creates an artistic redefinition of traditional themes.
• A monumental bronze sculpture by the artist depicting Mercury, the messenger of the gods, is located in front of the ´Post Tower´ in Bonn.

Private collection, Lower Saxony.
Beautiful sculpture, in good condition. The right arm has a professionally restored break in the plaster. The left foot has a small loss of material on the rear wing, and the right head wing has a very minor loss of material.
