• “A Bigger Book” – this enormous book refers to one of his most famous pool paintings, “A Bigger Splash,” 1967 (Tate Gallery, London).
• Using a tablet and inkjet printer, Hockney creates a complex interplay of color, light, and line, thus establishing an updated definition of pop art.
• Hockney's works are held in major contemporary art collections, including the Tate Gallery, London, the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, and the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
