Kostümentwurf für die Tänzerin Lo Hesse. Dieser erschien 1920 in der Mappe Ballet und Pantomime unter der Bezeichnung Paradiesvogel.
Elegant-dynamischer Kostümentwurf, mit handschriftlicher Notiz: "Goldfasan 2, Lo Hesse in Die Abenteuer des Vogelfängers , Duett mit J. v. Seewitz, Premiere im Hoftheater in Stuttgart, 24.II.1917", eingefasst in einem aus Buntpapier der Zeit gefertigtem Passepartoutrahmen. - Für Walter Schnackenbergs Schaffensprozess war die Tänzerin Lo Hesse eine der wichtigsten Inspirationsquellen. Früh erkannte er ihr Talent und brachte sie mit dem hier erwähnten Tänzer Johann von Seewitz (1891 - 1966) zusammen. Sie war fortan Muse und Model für seine extravganten Entwürfe.
- ZUSTAND: Minim. schwach fleckig, ob. R. mit Teil eines Blindstempels (unleserlich). Montiert auf Karton. Außerordentlich schönes und lebendiges Blatt.

Alle Tafeln in Lichtdruck, Format bis ca. 30 : 22 cm, in brillanten Farben aquarelliert und tlw. gold- und silbergehöht, jeweils auf Karton montiert im Format 47,5 : 36 cm.
Costume design for the dancer Lo Hesse. This appeared in 1920 in the portfolio Ballet and Pantomime under the title Paradiesvogel. Original drawing, watercolor and gilt heightened. Signed and dated. 1916. On sturdy paper. 45 : 32.8 cm. Paper size 62 : 48 cm. - Minimal faint staining, upper right with part of a blind stamp (illegible). Mounted on cardboard. Exceptionally beautiful and lively sheet. - In addition: 4 (of 22) plates from the portfolio Ballet and Pantomime.
